Recently my mother gave me a ring that I had thought I had lost. It has a bible verse inscripted on it in Hebrew and could not remember what the scripture was but knew that Jesus had stated that only through him would I be able to reach God. I would think about it from time to time these past couple of weeks and would ponder what the verse was, however never took the time to look it up.
Normally when I sit down to lunch I will read a magazine or newspaper to break away from the monotony of the day, however this day I had nothing in my car. Searching around I found a Daily Devotion that a friend of mine had given me when I first moved to Nashville as I began my Recovery process.
After I sat down, prayed and began to eat my lunch I opened my book and this was what I opened it to...
The Only Way - "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. " JOHN 14:6
Plenty of people doubt Jesus. But those who have accepted Him as their Savior need not wallow in uncertainty. His Spirit speaks to ours, moment by moment, if we will only listen. He tells us God has shown us the way; we need not seek another path or truth. No other road leads to God. For a vibrant Christian life, we simply need to continue down the highway we're traveling with Jesus. EVERYDAY ENCOURAGEMENT, Pamela McQuade
Is it a sheer glimpse of coincidence of is it just God being anonymous? God Speed.
